Housekeeping for my disabled father

I wanted to know if anyone has experience dealing with Blue Cross/Blue Shield or insurance companies as a whole.  My father is Diabetic, and had his toes amputated due to a bad infection.  How do disabled people get help with housekeeping?  I know sometimes they are able to go through the insurance companies.

Thanks Who-Knew for offering to look at my resume. Although I don't think it's my resume. There's just not many jobs in Michigan, economically we got hit hard, we're #50 on the unemployment list. Jobs are even slow at the temp agencies. But I may take you up on looking at my resume, it really needs to stand out with the job shortages. I hope you wouldn't mind me e-mailing it to you. My father is in the hospital right now, so it may be a few days. Thanks for your help!

I was just wondering how things are going for you. Dealing with someone suffering from Bipolar Disorder has to be rough. How is your mental health, with all that you're dealing with? It's no cakewalk at all, and I hope that you remember to take care of yourself as well.

Thanks Who-Knew for the information. I'm going to check into all all the websites above. My field is Medical Administration, but I'm having no luck there. I have been applying for all jobs..Thanks for the information, and Be Blessed!

Help with arrears to my landlord

You could try Volunteers of America, and they may be able to help you. I live in Clinton Township, Mi..and there's low income housing around here. There's some apartments off of Gratiot, and directly on 15 mile..that's subsidized housing. I don't know the name of the apartments right off hand or their phone number. And yes Michigan is facing severe economic hardship. I'm trying to position myself to move within a year. I completed school, only to learn there were no jobs when I finished. I am also a single mother, and can relate to your struggles. Now I'm trying to finish College, and go in a new path..where there's plentiful jobs. You be "in courage" in Jesus name. Know that God will not put more on you than you are able to bear. Be blessed.

student loans

Contact the Salvation Army, St. Vincent De Paul, Volunteers of America, etc. Just make contact and explain your situation until you are pointed in the right direction. Although usually the agencies I named will help with these items. There should also be a Crisis Hotline in your neighborhood that is full of contact numbers. Go to grants.gov and see if their is an agency that will help with your light bills.

I think I can help you in the area of encouraging advice. I have to encourage myself as well. One thing is for sure, we have to keep moving and not ever quit. Know that "all things work out for good to those who love the lord, according to his purpose and glory" The Word of God really does give me the strength to keep going and not to throw in the towel.

I'm looking to find a grant to help me as a single parent of 3 girls. I need help with funding Medical Transcriptionist school through CareerStep, it's legitimate and approved by BBB. Once I complete the program I'm hoping to obtain employment. Right now I live in Michigan, and there's limited jobs. I am having such a hard time finding employment, and I'm educated. I have applied for any type of job that posts an ad, medical billing, cleaning, receptionists, cashier. I just want a job for now. For Government Grants, I want a program that I don't have to use a credit card online to get the information. I'm also seeking a legitimate program, and no scams. (Bad experiences giving out my credit card # to businesses) A website or address to someone who funds grants would be appreciated. If you know of any job leads for Detroit, Mi or Clinton Twp, Mi..it would be really appreciated if you give them to me. Thanks, and much love!

Have you tried contacting a shelter? What about family members that you can stay with? There's usually shelters to house single women with children. Call your your city's crisis center, and they should be able to refer you to a shelter. You could also check out transitional housing that is based on your income until you get situated. Women's shelters have programs to help the women get back on their feet. I hope that you are seeing a physician to control your depression. Your mental health is very important. I know that you may not want to go to a shelter, but please consider your children first. I know that if you go to a shelter, you should be able to qualify for Public Housing Assistance, and make sure you sign up for Section 8. Best of love to you and your children. Be in courage in Jesus name. P.S. You should be able to put your furniture in storage for $100.00 a month.
